PDT Merseguera No Sulfites 2023 – Natural White Wine without Sulfites or Filtration
PDT Merseguera No Sulfites 2023 is a natural white wine made exclusively from the native Merseguera grape, with no added sulfites and unfiltered. Aged for 3 months on its lees in clay amphorae, it authentically expresses the character of Requena’s terroir and the soul of an exceptional, extreme vintage.
Sourced from bush-trained vines planted in 1975 in the Casa del Sancho plot (at 700 m altitude), this wine comes from poor clay-limestone soils under strict organic viticulture, with no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Harvested by hand and at night, it is produced with minimal intervention to preserve varietal purity.
Tasting notes of this sulfite-free Merseguera
Appearance: Lemon yellow with greenish reflections. Natural cloudiness may appear over time.
Nose: Orange blossom, lime and grapefruit peel, green fruits such as pear and grape, and a subtle touch of marzipan.
Palate: Dry, with excellent freshness, silky texture, and a long finish reminiscent of white fruit and sourdough.
Pairing and serving
Serve between 6 ºC and 8 ºC in a medium-bodied glass. Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, quiches, croquettes, salads, and pasta with flavorful sauces.

Merseguera 2023 is bottled without filtration or sulfites. Its evolution in the bottle may show natural sediments and slight color changes — signs of its genuine, unrefined nature.
