Alegría de Tharsys Brut Nature Reserva – Organic and vegan Cava, 100% Macabeo
Alegría de Tharsys Brut Nature Reserva is an organic and vegan Cava produced using the traditional method from Macabeo grapes grown in our vineyards in Requena, at over 700 metres above sea level. Aged on the lees for more than 18 months and with a minimal dosage of 3 g/L (Brut Nature), it results in a pure, fresh and elegant sparkling wine that expresses the most natural essence of the Mediterranean.

Organic vineyard and high-altitude Mediterranean climate
The Macabeo vineyard is organically certified and grown on calcareous soils with clay layers, at over 700 metres above sea level. The dry climate and marked day–night temperature differences encourage balanced ripening, preserving the grape’s natural acidity and aromatic profile. All viticulture is carried out without herbicides or chemical pesticides, respecting the surrounding biodiversity.
Traditional winemaking with lees ageing
Harvesting is done by hand in small boxes to preserve the integrity of the bunches. After the second fermentation in bottle, the Cava rests on the lees for more than 18 months in our underground cellars. The expedition liqueur comes from a family solera made from wines over 26 years old, adding elegance and complexity. Disgorging and labelling are carried out by hand, ensuring an authentic and sustainable product.
Tasting notes – Alegría de Tharsys Brut Nature Reserva
Appearance: Pale lemon yellow, with fine, persistent bubbles forming a delicate crown.
Nose: Fresh aromas of grapefruit, Golden apple and white grape, with floral notes of calla lily and acacia, and hints of moss and fresh hay.
Palate: Fresh and clean, with a fine balance between acidity and ripeness. Soft, fine bubbles, a sense of purity, and a dry, long and elegant finish with notes of butter and bread yeast.
Food pairing
Perfect with cod fritters, boiled prawns, white fish, tuna empanada, traditional rice dishes, or simply to enjoy on a summer afternoon. Serve between 6 and 8 °C in a wide glass with a slightly closed rim.
