PAGO DE THARSYS | NIGHT HARVEST ALBARIÑO 2025
The Vineyard
The Albariño plot (1 ha) is located in the southern part of the estate, on highly calcareous soil composed of porous bedrock known as “tufa”. This nutrient-poor soil, yet capable of retaining moisture at depth, promotes the development of small, highly aromatic grapes.
Vintage 2025
The 2025 vintage experienced a cold, dry winter that helped sanitize the soil, followed by a very rainy spring that built up strong water reserves and encouraged vigorous vegetative growth. The dry summer, with cool nights, promoted excellent grape health and balance. Albariño was harvested on August 27th, resulting in an outstanding vintage.
Winemaking
Produced following the traditional method, with 6 months of aging on its lees in stainless steel tanks. No oak aging is carried out in order to preserve its floral and fruity aromas.
