Pago de Tharsys Vendimia Nocturna Albariño 2024 is a limited-production organic white wine crafted by Pago de Tharsys under the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Pago de Tharsys. This wine is born in Requena (Valencia), at over 700 metres above sea level, in a limestone plot known as Albar, where the Albariño variety develops unique aromatic expression and exceptional freshness.

Organic Albariño Vineyard on White Limestone Soils
The Albariño vineyard is located in the southern part of the estate, on limestone “toba” soil formed over 30 million years ago. This white, nutrient-poor yet structurally rich soil retains deep moisture, promoting the growth of small, concentrated, and highly aromatic grapes. The vineyard is cultivated following EU-certified organic practices, with no pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, respecting the biodiversity of the environment.
Night Harvest and Lees Ageing
Harvest takes place at night to preserve the floral and fruity aromas of the Albariño grapes. The grapes are hand-picked in 10 kg crates and reach the winery in under 15 minutes. After carefully controlled vinification, the wine undergoes 2 months of lees ageing in stainless steel tanks, with no oak contact, to maintain its freshness and varietal character.
Tasting Notes – Night Harvest Organic Albariño
Appearance: Bright lemon yellow with green reflections. Fine, slow tears.
Nose: Floral aromas (acacia, elderflower), stone and green fruit (pear), citrus peel, sage, savory, and spring vegetation.
Palate: Intense, fresh, and balanced. Notes of fruit, citrus, and fresh herbs. Long persistence, smooth and delicate texture.
Perfect Pairing for this Organic Albariño
Perfect with white fish such as turbot or sole, sea bream, steamed seafood, octopus, and seafood or vegetarian rice dishes. Serve between 6 and 8 ºC in medium-bodied glasses.
