Wine and Cheese Taste Like a Kiss (1 Night) – Getaway with Wine Tasting and Cheese Workshop
Wine and Cheese Taste Like a Kiss is a wine and gastronomy experience for two people, designed to enjoy wine, cheese, and the serenity of the countryside. It combines accommodation, a guided winery tour, and a hands-on cheese-making and tasting workshop held in an authentic aging cave.
The experience is available from Monday to Thursday (except holidays) and begins with a welcome glass of wine upon your arrival at Hotel Rural Pago de Tharsys. You’ll spend one night in a double room surrounded by vineyards, and the next morning enjoy a homemade breakfast featuring local products.
The guided tour includes a walk through the organic vineyards, the winery, the barrel room, and the 19th-century underground cellar. It concludes with a tutored tasting of three wines paired with traditional artisanal cold cuts from Requena.
The highlight of the experience is the workshop and tasting at Hoya de la Iglesia cheesery. You’ll learn the complete process of making a traditional Valencian fresh cheese and prepare your own. Afterwards, you’ll take part in a guided cheese tasting paired with local wines. The workshop lasts approximately 1.5 hours: 45 minutes for making the cheese and 45 minutes for the tasting.
