PAGO DE THARSYS | NIGHT HARVEST GARNACHA 2025
The Vineyard
In the southern area of our estate lies the Garnacha plot (0.7 ha), dominated by limestone soil due to the porous limestone bedrock known as “Toba.” This plot is called Albar for its white albariza soil. It is an ideal soil for producing balanced rosés, as it is low in nutrients but allows moisture to accumulate in the lower layers during the driest months of the year, resulting in small, highly aromatic grapes.
Vintage 2025
The 2025 vintage combined a mild winter and an early spring with a very dry and hot summer. The lower yield produced exceptionally healthy and concentrated grapes, resulting in a wine with intensity and quality.
Winemaking
Produced following the traditional method, with cold maceration to extract the free-run juice. It ferments partially in stainless steel tanks and finishes in French oak barrels, aging on the lees for 3 months.
